The GG Practice Coaching why
Our why is to make sense of the complex and challenging, and that is leadership and
teamwork. How we do that is to look, to understand, and to find better ways. Better ways
to communicate and work together. Better systems and protocols. Better and more
predictable outcomes.
What we bring is growth, development and a trusting relationship where we walk with you.
What we believe
In order to do any of that, we first start with helping you understand you and your
leadership style. Then we help the team understand themselves and each other. Then we need
to understand the business. Then the community, how your practice fits into it, and how it
attracts patients.
That order matters. Most practices try to fix the systems before the leadership, and the
systems then quietly revert within a quarter.
Meet Geri Gottlieb
With thirty years in the dental industry, Geri has experience across everything from
practice management and patient treatment to administration and leadership. Having owned
two large periodontal practices with her husband, Dr. Bob Gottlieb, she knows what it
takes to grow a business from the ground up. That experience gives her an understanding of
the multiple silos in our industry: clinical, leader, manager and owner.
Always looking to accumulate more knowledge and understanding, Geri is certified in the
Five Behaviors of a Team®, DiSC® Behavioral Assessments and The Working Genius, alongside
Adult Learning and Behavioral Therapy. Those certifications let her generate genuine
insight into the needs of each member of your team rather than treating them as one unit.
She spent four years as a lead coach with ACT Dental Practice Management alongside Kirk
Behrendt before launching GG Practice Coaching in 2019. She also runs the
GGPCI Institute, where office managers and
administrators progress through a leveled leadership and management continuum.
Geri’s passion for administrative excellence and organizational health is the foundation
of her training philosophy. She understands the importance of working on the
practice, not just in it.
